Timing Network

Networks

There are several instances of timing networks on the campus.

  • Productive
    • production: everything starting with the end of TK (transfer channel): all rings, beamlines
    • unilac: everything until the end of TK (transfer channel); basically UNILAC
  • Integration; water cooled racks in BG2
    • int: everything starting with the end of TK (transfer channel): all rings, beamlines
    • uni-int: everything until the end of TK (transfer channel); basically UNILAC
  • Other
    • user: loosely and mostly local instances of White Rabbit networks. Fixed Data Master schedule for stuff after TK (no UNILAC)
    • testing: Strictly reserved for use by the timing team.

Please note the policies.
