Kubernetes Limitations

kubernetes has some limitations. They result in our current setup, or policies or are builtin

total of about 2700 external services over all namespaces
total of about 1500 pods
service recovery on catastrophic node failure can take a minute even with optimized deployment sets (bgp timeouts)
no persistent storage
no external registry access (no dockerhub)
accessible from aco and campus network. Not citrix, lx-pool, etc
not high available (control plane, rbac)
no on-call duty
