FESA3

• At the moment a 32-bit and 64-bit installation of FESA3 is available on the MCS (FESA3 2.0.1 "Helium", 09/2014)

Location of FESA3 / third-party components on MCS

The installation is located on frl002f / frl003f .

• /opt/fesa/...
• /opt/cern/...
• /opt/cmw/...
• /opt/gsi/...

Eclipse & FESA3 Eclipse Plug-In as Emergency tools

• Eclipse Kepler with the required plugins such as CDT, SVNKit, ...
• installed in /common/fesa/eclipse-kepler, links on frl002/3 available

Noteworthy

• in Saclay, France the connection to the webdav server at GSI will not be available. This is required at GSI to retrieve the FESA administrator list. For Saclay a simple workaround has been implemented to allow to use the Eclipse plug-in in principal.

Installing FECs

According to this the mount directories of a FEC have to be adapted. The script attached below performs the required operations.

CMW Directory Server

On MCS the CMW Directory server is: frl001f.fr.acc.gsi.de:5021

In /common/export/fesa/global/etc/fesa/<VERSION>/fesa3_environment.conf export the desired CMW environment variables:
