Run a FESA3 class on a FEC
April 2011: Currently there is a
FEC available that already has the future FESA3-environment: sddsc007. It's possible to login as root, the password is a secret.
Fesa-Classes developed on the Blade-Center can be copied to /common/usr/export/fesa/arch/i386/eqp_software/ .
Run a FESA3 class
Usually a FESA3 class needs root rights during start up. This is necessary for setting the thread priorities.
Not every user has root rights. Therefore it is possible to use the command line tool fesa3launcher on belpc055 to start a FESA class with the necessary rights:
user@belpc055:> fesa3launcher ../deployFESAclass.L865 FESAclass.instance
