Purpose of the System
The Diagnostic Logging service provides the functionality to store human readable text entries generated by any component of the accelerator control system software in a coherent way to allow efficient querying. These text entries are generated for control system diagnostic and debugging usage and for operational logging. The diagnostic logging service is a tool for developers and technical maintainers of the accelerator control system to support problem diagnostic.
