IT (acoinn) support ended july 2023.

Upstream (operating system) ends Q3 2024. Systems will be powered off.

Remote access only via ssh. See also SshLegacy

Access is restricted to the unix group acc7. Check if your are a group member using linux command id for example on acc9 (or for other users id OTHERUSERNAME). If you think you still need access, contact r.baer and provide a reason and an account name.

Cluster acc7

Cluster acc7 is a legacy computational computer cluster. It wass used to develop software and run services for the main control room.

Due to technical constraints, the desktop environment is now xfce4. Remote gnome won't work because of missing graphics acceleration. Remote kde might work, but is buggy.
