Industrial Control (CSCOIC)

The CSCO IC (Industrial Control) group is responsible for the automatization process of all technologies (like R³B - Prototype Cryogenics Control System, GLAD_VAC - Isolation vacuum for glad or CRYRING) and for the developing of the GSI standard based on UNICOS (Unified Industrial Control System / CERN). The engineers of the IC group develop the technologies with the generator tool UAB (Unicos Application Builder), the PLC programs Simatic S7 and TIA Portal, the HMI program WinCC Advanced and the SCADA program WinCC OA. The typical PLC (Simatic 300/1500) und HMI (TP700) hardware is from Siemens, but in some special cases hardware is needed from Beckhoff and Gantner.
