Requested features for the next FESA versions (3.xx)

• 64-Bit-Compatibility
• Possibility to switch more easily to new versions of a FESA-class, e.g. a script that copies the still needed code/files automatically.
  • Is planned and will be provided by CERN (AlexanderSchwinn)
• FESA-Wizard: some kind of online tool that helps going through the whole processing of a FESA-class, might be useful for beginners
  • A new webpage within an walkthrough, visible world wide and a video - step by step manual is planned and will be provided by CERN (AlexanderSchwinn)
• install FESA-related stuff in /common/fesa/ on VM, ->add a variable in Makefiles to specify an installation directory for FESA libraries, includes etc
• Use cases Runtime Event Selection / Event Subscription
• Provide help in the Eclipse XML- editor,including some kind of online help system while developing a FESA class, line highlighting, tool tips, ...
  • There is a ongoing discussion between David and Michel to use another licensed XML-Editor, which offers some of the mentioned services (03 Nov 2009 AlexanderSchwinn)
