LSA Database - an overview
The LSA DB is an oracle database instance with many tables. It is used to keep data which is necessary to perform settings management, e.g.
- accelerator layout: accelerators, accelerator zones, devices
- optics
- parameters and their relations
- contexts: supercycles, cycles, beamprocesses
- settings
The database schema is mostly maintained by CERN (Chris Roderick); there are a few additional GSI tables, views and PL/SQL packages.
The database schema sources are located in the CERN repository (svn+ssh://svn.cern.ch/reps/acc-dm) and emails are generated whenever some change (check-in) was performed on that sources.
