On call duty - System Access to your own computer

Use Case 1: Windows

If your own computer is a Windows Computer, your application to access it remotely is the Remote Desktop.

Step 1: Ticket to request Remote Desktop Permissions

First, you have to write a ticket in the trouble ticket system, Queue: Windows, with the request to enable remote Access for the Computer . Remote Desktop Zugang auf den eigenen Rechner beantragen (formlos, Rechnername BELPC... nicht vergessen)

or call the User Help Desk.

Step 2: Usage

Once enabled you cann access your computer from any windows machine using the Microsoft Terminal Services Client "mstsc" or from Linux using "rdesktop".
