Cluster acc6

ALERT! is unsupported as of November 2020

Cluster acc6 is the legacy computational computer cluster virtual machines. It's used to develop software and run services for the main control room.

Upstream (operating system) and IT (cscoin) support will end november 2020.

Development

asl735 On the machines asl730 and upwards

Production

asl335 On the machine asl330 and upwards

Filesystems

The Home filesystem is shared between development and production servers.

Filesystems under /common are only shared between machines of the same type (development, production).

Software

ifort

Intel Fortran Compiler is available after sourceing the intel init script. The initscript is in the default paths.

/usr/bin/ifortvars.sh
[handel@asl730 ~]$ . ifortvars.sh ia32
[handel@asl730 ~]$ ifort --version

eldk

Embedded Linux Development Kit with the Powerpc cross compilers is installed to /opt/eldkand can be used after sourcing the init script

[handel@asl730 powerpc]$ . /opt/eldk/init.sh 
[handel@asl730 powerpc]$ powerpc-linux-gcc --version
powerpc-linux-gcc (GCC) 4.6.1 20110627 (prerelease)
